This Mariner 34 Orient Sedan is immediately impressive for its condition -- It has low operating hours, and has been little used. The owners bought this boat on the Chesapeake, retired to Puget Sound, bought another Mariner sedan trawler, and then had this boat shipped so it could be maintained and sold under their watchful eyes.
This boat is outfitted as an economical, reliable cruising trawler for an adventurous couple. It has tremendous DC battery capacity, a high-output alternator for rapid charging, and top-of-the-line inverter and battery monitoring equipment. The owners specified an extra large Nova Kool side-by-side refrigerator/freezer for extended cruising.
A large upper deck and flybridge allows for dinghy storage topside. Furuno radar/nav equipment and high-end VHF and SSB radios support cruising far-beyond home waters.
Interior woodwork is beautiful -- nicely-crafted teak and holly throughout. Exterior wood is minimal. The teak caprail has been left unfinished for new owners who may prefer to bring it to a luster with varnish, or may wish to keep it simple with teak oil.
The construction and hull design of this model is tried and true. It would be hard to find a reliable compact sedan trawler in better condition than this boat.
